These are people that I know well or knew well because they are some of my friends. This page shows a view of covers created for Onalaska High School athletic
banquet and the Christmas cover of the student magazine at WWTI. This is a image clean up of the church that I work with and attend sometimes. This is an image of my photographic studio.

Turnaround time for Black & White: in film format; about a quarter year, color film format about 2 weeks.
For cost containment I like to work from a contact sheet for traditional Black & White.
Prices for Black & White photographs, 40 per square inch. In house sizes; 8"x10", 5"x7", 4"x6", 3.5"x5" , wallet size (Approximately the size of a wallet card or 2.5"x 3.5").
I keep my darkroon chemistry in the dry state (un-mixed) I keep a supply of an assortment of sizes and finishes of black and white printing paper and it is getting old.
My darkroom is in the boxes in storage and has been there for several years.
Because I must mix 3 gallons of solutions to turn on the darkroom I charge a retention fee of $1,000 to start the darkroom, so you had better want more than one picture in Black and White film.
With bracketing (exposure manipulation) there are about 6-8 accurately placed exposures in one roll of 24 film.
You must contract for a minimum of 20 exposures on roll of film, (Ideally it would be for 2 rolls of film because me stainless steel film development tank holds 2 reels of film).
My Black & White film developement tank holds 2-36 exposure reels or a total of 72 pictures. Because Black and White is a double silver process, film reel loading is done in total darkness (to load the film onto the reels) for film developement, I reserve the right to ask a $1,000 advance retainer to assemble my black and white darkroom and mix the 3-gallons of chemistry.

Graphic Arts:

Graphic arts design is basically Black and White and maybe grey.
It can also be done in color too. Using various contrasts and harmonies.
Graphic arts design was physical leafs of paper with relevant ink applied to it,
produced to a specific size that were precisely trimmed and pasted to another
larger piece of paper known as a flat or layout.

Digital Design:

Is done on a computer which is basically a drawing board, a triangle and a t-square.
It is more so akin to a drafting arm and table.
But one has the choice of typography and line, images in black and white or color.
All perfectly aligned: automatically; by the computer.
Now one human with; a computer, can do the artwork of 5 people.

The Printed Image:

Paper is white, it can: however; be any color.
Ink is black, it can: however; be any color.
Paper can have more than one color of ink applied to it at one time.
Most jobs for the printer are 2 colors, white paper with black ink.
Therefore a 3 color print job is seen by lay people to be 2 colors.
